I Should Sue Jude Okoye, If He Said I Owe Him - Cynthia Morgan Fires Back
Cynthia Morgan has fired back at her former label boss Jude Okoye and her former manager, Joy Tongo over their rebuttal to her disclosure days ago.

Speaking in another Instalive video session with former Miss Globe Nigeria Cassandra, the dancehall singer averred that she never said Jude Okoye took away her Instagram account.

Cynthia Morgan who insisted that the music executive took over her VEVO account, said she should be suing him. She stated that if Jude Okoye is saying he took over the account because she owes him money, then he didn't do his job well because she was a big brand while still with Northside Entertainment. The singer further recalled how they turned down a gig because those in charge of the show only wanted to pay N3.5m while they wanted N4m.

She went on to reveal that she was not happy in the first three years of her contract, as she had more issues with Joy than with Jude.

El-Rufai Threatens To Prosecute Parents Who Enroll Children Into Almajirai
Governor Nasir El-Rufa'i of Kaduna State has warned that parents who enroll their children into the Almajirai education system stand the risk of prosecution and up to two years jail.

El-Rufa'i stated this in Kaduna yesterday when he visited some 200 Almajiri children repatriated from Nasarawa State and undergoing rehabilitation and optical screening at Government College, Kurmin Mashi, Kaduna.

The governor also said that any Islamic cleric who enrolls any child into the Almajiri system would also be prosecuted and jailed as well as fined N100,000 or N200,000 per child.

He said that all the Almajiri pupils repatriated from other states of the country were indigenes of the state, adding that the government would give them all the opportunity they deserved to grow and develop.

El-Rufai expressed satisfaction with the ongoing transformation of the Almajiri pupils from hopelessness to hope and confidence.

According to him, the state has a responsibility to do whatever it can to give them hope and a better future.

"We will, therefore, continue to take delivery of every Almajiri pupil indigenous to Kaduna state for rehabilitation, treatment and enrollment into formal school nearest to where their parents live.

"We will continue to do this until we clear Kaduna state of the menace of Almajiri system, which is not education but the abuse of the privilege and future of a child.

"Our ultimate goal is for them to acquire formal education without depriving them of the opportunity to acquire Quranic education.

"They will continue their Quranic education but under the care of their parents and not under someone who does not know them or paid to look after them."

He explained that the Ministry of Human Services and Social Development (MHSSD), along with UNICEF would closely monitor them and ensure that no child would leave his locality until he finished primary and junior secondary school.

The governor stressed that every child in Kaduna state must get 12-year free and compulsory primary and secondary school education.

"Those that cannot proceed to senior secondary school will have the opportunity to go to vocational school, also free.

"As such, no parent has any excuse for his child not to go to school," El-Rufa'i said.

He thanked MHSSD and other state agencies for the commitment and passion for the welfare of the children.

He equally thanked AMA foundation and other NGOs and civil societies for supporting the government to provide the Almajiri pupils with the needed medical care, food, and clothing, among others.

The governor particularly appreciated UNICEF for supporting the state government in ensuring that all the repatriated children were well documented.

El-Rufai said that the care and support provided had restored the sense of dignity of the children.

Crying woman (File photo)
A woman has cried out for help as her conscience continues to torment her after she slept with her landlord in order to provide for her family.
The woman who expressed remorse for sleeping with her landlord, asked for help on what to do next.
She sent her message to Cynthia Valerian Raphaels on Facebook and said:
"Good evening ma. Hide my id please. My marriage is 10 years with 3 kids. My husband is 44years, 32 years. I beg you all dont blame me much😭😭😭😭. I just needed solutions on how to help myself, because I have started hating myself. My husband lost his job last 2 years and since then, I have been feeding the house with my salary😭😭😭😭. I did something I never wanted to do on this Corona period. I dont have any money to cook anything at home and no one to talk to, no water for my children to drink. We started drinking borehole water. I kept putting my account number on madam Cynthia give away post but I wasn't lucky at all. Our land lord have been making advances at me for long and I ignored him. My parents look up to me for help and I didnt even give them anything at all. Me and my family stayed two days without anything and I left to ask my landlord for money to see if he can help me. All my neighbors I went to for help, nobody gave me anything. I lied to my husband let me go and see my brothers friend to know if she can help us. My landlord wife and kids stay abroad.

He lives two houses away from us. When I got to his place, he brought up the topic again and I told him that I cant do it, he promised to give me 20k free and some provisions. I know what I did is wrong and my conscience is killing me badly. I cant watch my three children cry anymore and I gave in and he refused he wont use protection. I have been asking God to forgive me. If they paid us in school where I teach before discharging us I wont have fallen into such. I am a shadow of myself now ma.

Three days ago, our compound people had meeting with him. Nepa people came to cut our light because of old bill we didnt settle. If you see the way he humiliated my husband because he gave his own suggestions, because he knows our situation😭😭😭😭😭I covered my face in shame. I wish I never did what I did. My husband is not on social media. Please help me post for advise."
