Strike Update: FG Yet To Call For Another Meeting ASUU Says

By Imsu Elijah (Twitter @Imsu_Elijah)

The on-going nationwide strike embarked by the academic staff union of universities (ASUU) earlier November last year is becoming more worrisome as it has been extended to the dawn of yet another year with no good news yet as to it's ending.

ASUU had earlier today Wednesday Jan. 2nd denied claims making round online that a certain amount of money was allocated to the academic union and that the strike will be ending Monday.

The union through their handle on social media debunked the misleading information stating categorically that FG is yet to call for another meeting in continuation of their ongoing negotiations for over two weeks now.

To this end, safely disregard any news in the contrary as the ongoing strike is still indefinite while we await the announcement of their new negotiation date.
