Is IMSU NASU Strike Over Now?

The Non academic staff union of Imo state university, Owerri on 3rd September issued out an official memo as to commencement of an indefinite strike in the state govt. Owned institution over several issues (Read here).

However it is only NASU that has the power to suspend/call off their strike; until they officially say so, the strike can not be said to be over. And as at Today, NASU did not give any directives to its members to commence work, we are yet to receive a copy.

Despite the industrial action, the student affairs division through the dean Prof. Martins Uchenna has assured that prospective Corp members would certainly be mobilised for their compulsory one year service.
