IMSU Vice-Chancellor Plants Tree In Support Of Campus Green Initiative


In line with the campus green initiative, Imo state university vice chancellor, Professor (Mrs) Victoria Adaobi Obasi was at Alex Ekwueme University to chair the first Annual International Conference geared towards making the university an Eco-Friendly institution.

The conference was held during the week where our honorable vice chancellor Prof. Obasi spared some time to support the green initiative by planting a tree, the wireless informant learnt.

The Sub-dean faculty of Education Prof. Obasi while planting, prayed that the tree just like the university, would grow to provide shades, fruits and serene environment for generations to come.

She wasn’t alone during the campaign, the wife of the first President of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Professor Uche Azikiwe among other well meaning female and male compatriots were also part of the tree planting campaign to support the campus green initiative.
