IMSU SUG Deputy Speaker Donates Writing Board to Faculty of Engineering (PHOTOS)

The thought of going to school each day, spending an entire day listening and thinking without having a writing board is an eerie  and Characterized as informal system of learning in Imo state University Owerri.
Senator Ofoegbu Chima who is the substantive SUG 16th Republic Deputy Speaker has activated smiles on faces of students in the faculty of engineering through his project of donating white board which will no doubt be of service to millions of students.
The deputy Speaker who spoke to Mr. Elijah Madubuihe Recently at faculty of Engineering block Imo state University owerri opted that he was touched by the fact that students in the prestigious faculty had to resort spending an entire day listening without having a writing board, taking cognizance that effective learning in Faculty of Engineering is accompanied by practical display which orchestrated his campaign for making writing board available to them.
The writing board was commissioned by the dean of the faculty, Engineer Julius Onyeka alongside the Faculty President Comrade Chukwuocha Chima (RIDE) and Host of other delegates across the institution.

“Students who read become better citizens, better spouses, better parents,” Onyeka said. “But it’s not up to the Lecturer to get them reading. It’s up to the parents, Friends, and neighbors.”
Engineer Onyeka credited one of the problems faced by students to inadequate building and lack of well equipped writing implements, thanking the SUG Deputy Speaker for his immeasurable support to the growth and development of the student.

This is motivation and clarion call to opinion molders and student leaders in Imo State University Owerri, let us invest in the university that is Investing in us.

  6. Wat board? all lies, contribution from civil engineering 300 level and there was no commission from the dean. A person with such selfish lieing tongue cannot lead us at SUG level. If he wanted to do something, while he was thinking should have thought of the leaking roof in his departmental lecture hall causing a flood in the hall. We work and he takes the glory, we say NO MORE. Same goes to other leaders, honesty is your number one step to greatness
